We've ordered twice from No. 1. The bourbon chicken has a great flavor. Last time, my wife ordered chicken & steamed vegetables with brown sauce on the side. That sauce was fantastic. I happily ate the leftover sauce over rice the next day.
Best General Tso's chicken I've ever had. A touch of Star anise makes all the difference. Unlike many storefront Chinese take out restaurants this one goes the extra mile.
My normal Chinese restaurant was closed so we gave this one a try. I won't be returning, the food was meh. Soups (egg drop and hot and sour) were jelly like. Fried rice is just yellow rice. Chicken wings & sweet and sour chicken were greasy. Overall I was disappointed and would more than likely not return here.
Skimpy on the sauces, insane. When you ask for extra sauces like soy or duck.... You get 2!
For a tasty appetizer try the shrimp toast. Quite a delicious snack.
Stopped for a late takeout dinner. It was the worst Chinese I had ever gotten for this location. I have ordered from here before and it was fine. Not this visit! The food was dry, tasted like it had sat out all day. The fried rice was hard and seemed as though it was left over from two days prior. Maybe it was a new cook or just a really off day for them ... it was enough for me to switch to a different quick Chinese take out!
The pan-fried dumplings are great. The meat inside is darker than at some other places. They might put hoisin in them. Whatever they do, it's very tasty.
