I have been with Public Storage a little over a year. I have been lied to since the beginning. At first I reserved a smaller unit and went I went to move in they said they didn't have it available while I'm sitting there with a U-haul full of my property from my condo. They said don't worry Sir we will give you a bigger unit for only 5 dollars extra a month. I really didn't have a choice and had to take the bigger unit or find another storage complex the same day which in the area I live in that just doesn't happen. 3 months after moving into the unit they raised my price from $108 to $128 a month witch the person who signed me up said it would not go up for a year. Now I get a letter today saying they are increasing my rent again from the original $108 to now to $150.10. So if you are looking for a storage company that is honest do not go with Public storage. If you want a company that wont raise rates constantly STAY AWAY!!!!!!
Property Manager, Apollonia, has always provided great customer service and assistance. Throughout my experience as a tenant, she has always been available and easy to communicate with. You will not be disappointed with the services provided at this location. I was in need of a place to go when an emergency move came about, difficult times of course. I found the comfort I needed here.
Worst experience ever. Called and they made a reservation for me. They told me I was going to pay $25. Went I arrived to the location they charged me $59.14. Then they told me for the second month I would have to pay only$14.64. And if I was late I would pay a fee of $20. I was late for one day and they charged me $145.00. For one day!!! And if I didn't pay they would not give me my belongings.
I had given a 5star review, and now have to revise it to 1 star. The previous manager was great, now the staff is uncaring, and callous. The drilled off my lock and refused to replace it. A roof leak has resulted in damage to my belongings, and the ceiling insulation fell on all my things! They didn't give a damn!
I Would like to thank Appolonia For her great customer service going above and beyond her job duties she went out off her way for me. In a time of need she didn't have to do that but I am grateful. That shows just how much she values her job and her customers I appreciate all you did to help me. Public storage needs more people like Appolonia on there team. Thanks again Appolonia.
